Papers submitted to SCOT 2025 will be peer-reviewed by committees, accepted full papers will be published on Proceedings of SPIE-The International Society for Optical Engineering (ISSN: 0277786X), which will be submitted to SPIE Digital Library and indexed by EI Compendex, Scopus, etc.

*SPIE publications are listed in the latest EI Compendex Source List.

Excellent Papers will be recommended to SCI journal for publication after extension.

Indexing Service: Content will be submitted to the indexing companies for possible indexing. Indexing Services are independent organizations, and Publisher cannot guarantee that any particular abstract or index entry will be included in EI Compendex or any other indexing service.

Statement: All submitted articles should report original research results, experimental or theoretical, not previously published or under consideration for publication elsewhere. Articles submitted to the conference should meet these criteria. We firmly believe that ethical conduct is the most essential virtue of any academics. Hence, any act of plagiarism or other misconduct is totally unacceptable and cannot be tolerated.

To ensure the quality of the articles, all articles submitted to SCOT 2025 will be reviewed by 2-3 rounds of reviewers and the articles will be checked for duplication.

1. After the papers is submitted, one of our editors will check if it has potential problem of plagiarism, papers not passing the plagiarism check will be desk rejected immediately;
2. The papers that pass the pre-review will be assigned to 2-3 reviewers in the corresponding field for blind review, and give review opinions;
3. The review results and opinions will be returned to the author for modification;
4. The modified paper needs to be modified according to the opinions, and submit the modification instructions;
5. The modified paper and instructions will be returned to the reviewers for another review;
6. If the reviewers approve the revised version of the manuscript, then the Editor-in-Chief will make a final decision on acceptance for the publication.

Submission Guidelines         

1, Paper Submission Deadline: October 18, 2025;

2, The manuscript is written in English, not pure review articles; should report original, previously unpublished research results, experimental or theoretical;

3, Abstract, keywords, conclusion should reflect the topics, the paper contains methods, graphs, experimental data and results;

4,The full text (including pictures, tables, formula) must use formal, standard vocabulary and terminology, prohibit sensitive, vulgar words;
5, Pictures must be in high definition, screenshots are not allowed; The formula must be editable;
6, CrossCheck/Turnitin repetition rate should be less than 18%, otherwise it will be rejected directly;
